CineMag Conflict Minerals Policy

As a manufacturer of transformers and inductors, CineMag uses a variety of materials in these products.  These include one or more of the following minerals:

      Tin (Sn)
      Gold (Au)
      Cobalt (Co)

This list may expand depending upon where new Conflict Regions occur.

Such minerals could be refined or smelted in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), surrounding countries, or areas which have been determined to be a Conflict Region.  Minerals are deemed Conflict Minerals if the proceeds from their sale support, directly or indirectly, any armed terror group as described in the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. (Public Law 111-203 July 21, 2010.)

The supply chain for these minerals is complex.  CineMag undertakes due diligence to assure that our supply chain does not incorporate any of these minerals.  As part of this process, suppliers of materials to CineMag shall diligently exclude any materials from disreputable refiners, smelters, or their dealers and re-sellers, which aid or support armed terror groups from any Conflict Region.

Suppliers to CineMag adhere to the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct and source only from Active or Conforming refiner/smelters as defined by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI).

CineMag and our suppliers do not knowingly use any minerals originating from Conflict Mines.  CineMag’s suppliers ensure that Conflict Minerals are not used.
