CineMag has history of more than 50 years in magnetics engineering and manufacturing, all from Southern California.  These products have gone into a huge range of professional and audiophile grade audio equipment.  An untold number Platinum Records have been produced using equipment incorporating our products.  While we mostly focus on the audio range, our expertise goes well beyond those applications.

When reviewing the detailed tables of our designs, you will sometimes see the name of the customer who first initiated it.  Each one became available to other customers after the design was vetted for production.   We never charge for engineering services related to the design of our products.  

CineMag is headquartered at Simi Valley, California,  which is just north of Los Angeles County.  Our building’s area is 14,000 square feet.  All of our R&D, engineering, and manufacturing is done there.  This enables the efficient and in-depth engineering of the designs which are then ready for production.

We primarily manufacture small signal audio transformers and inductors.  We also do audio transformers up to 300 Watts.  Our products go into professional, “pro-sumer” grade audio, and audiophile equipment.  We also provide COTS (Consumer Off The shelf) magnetics to companies serving the U.S. military as well as industrial and instrumentation applications. 

Every product is individually tested to meet specifications.  Because everything happens at one location, quality control is consistent and well maintained.
