About CineMag, Inc.
CineMag Inc./Reichenbach Engineering started doing business in 1971, focusing exclusively on professional grade audio transformers and inductors. The founder, Edward Reichenbach, started his career in 1945 at Altec where he engineered audio signal and power transformers. We specialize in audio transformers and audio inductors. Our experience spans from long before “hifi” through the modern audio era.
CineMag’s magnetics are found in a large portion of all professional audio gear. We are not only in today’s equipment, but going back more than half a century.
Headquartered at Simi Valley, California, our building area is 14,000 square feet. All of our R&D, engineering, and manufacturing is done there. This enables the efficient engineering of new and novel designs because samples are readily made on the production line. This also allows for proper oversight when they are put into production assuring that what is made is exactly what was engineered.
Unlike some companies, our winding equipment is exclusively the very best in the industry. This assures best winding quality and accuracy. Every detail is important when making the very best. For example, another factor differentiating us from virtually all others is how we attach drain wires to copper foil Faraday shields. They solder the wires. We spot weld them which gives them uniformity and forever reliability.
